Robert Hołist, deputy director of ICPh, Piotr Garstecki, one of the world leading researchers in microfluidics and Martin Izydorzak, director of Scope Microfluidics received Ingeniatrics’ CEO Joaquin Gomez Moya during his visit to Warsaw. Both entities have started talks to collaborate on grounds of complementary fields of expertise to compete in microfluidics technology tough global market.

From June 28th to July 2nd Joaquin Gomez stayed visiting the modern facilities of the Institute of Physical Chemistry, part of the Polish Academy of Sciences. ICPh has steadily been increasing its publishing of papers on fields such as material characterization, microfluidics and catalysis during the last ten years. Alfonso Gañán, founder of Ingeniatrics, and its group at the University of Seville were already cooperating on academic projects with Piotr Garstecki’s group at Warsaw on state-of-the-art Flow Focusing research. Now, ICPh principals look for strategic partners to step ahead in its strategy to gain better access to international customers interested on its expertise in engineering, automation and technological integration.

In Joaquin Gomez’s words, “there are complementary fields of expertise and largely interesting cooperation opportunities between us. The ICPh know-how could help us to dramatically increase our efficiency and response to our current customers. We look at this chance as a long-term relationship; fortunately they share our international scope.

Microfluidics science and markets are global; if we European companies and institutions want to successfully compete in such environment, it makes no sense that we stay limited to an old fashioned national approach. We do need reliable partners like ICPh to profit potential synergies. Our experience cooperating with University of Seville, but as well with other institutions like Universities of Vitoria, Alicante and Cadiz has been wonderful so far. In this path, international partnership is the natural next step.”

Ingeniatrics Technologies is one of the world leaders in carrying out Research, Development and Engineering on Flow Focusing microencapsulation and Flow Blurring spraying.
